When during my venture lifecycle do I work with Ren?

Every stage, heaviest in Build. Pre-build, Ren validates whether the architecture you're considering can support the roadmap. During Build, Ren reviews PRs in spirit, pinpoints the file behind a bug, and estimates refactor cost. In Grow, Ren flags the technical debt that will block scale.

Can Ren make decisions or only recommend?

Ren recommends only - never writes to your repo. GitHub access is strictly read-only. Ren will tell you which file to change, what the refactor will cost, and which dependency is about to bite you. You or your build tool make the change. That separation is deliberate: VenturOS operates the business; your code is yours.

How is Ren different from a human CTO?

A human CTO costs $250k+ and reads parts of the codebase. Ren reads the entire repo every session and never forgets a module. The trade-off is hiring engineers, vendor selection, and architectural calls with multi-year consequences, which stay human. Ren is the senior engineer on call; you remain the technical decision-maker.
